“Shine the Light on Domestic Violence” in New York State

The following map of New York State shows some structures/landmarks that were lit purple in October 2009. Shown are: the Alfred E. Smith Building in Albany County, the Mid-Hudson Bridge in Dutchess/Ulster Counties; the Empire State Building in Manhattan (New York County); the Electric Tower in Buffalo (Erie County); Niagara Falls in Niagara County; the Historic Whiteface Mountain Fire Tower in Hamilton County; Rochester City Hall in Monroe County; and the Hall of Languages at Syracuse University in Onondaga County.
