You did it. Through your strength, determination and will, you got out of an unsafe relationship. Now you’re ready to put those same attributes to work to become self-sufficient and financially stable.

A Verizon Wireless Domestic Violence Entrepreneurship Grant can help.

The grant program, in consultation with the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence, recognizes that domestic violence survivors like you have developed a unique set of coping, management and problem-solving skills – skills you could use to successfully get a small business up and running.

Grants range from $1,000 to $5,000 and can be used to purchase a computer or other office equipment, purchase product inventory, as tuition for an entrepreneurship assistance program or business course – virtually anything you need to help launch your business.

For a grant application or more information, please send an email to hopelinesmallbiz@verizonwireless.com or call John O’Malley at 585.321.7264.
